Being Left on the Outside Shaped Me Into the Mentor I Always Wanted
For most of my life, I felt like I was standing just beyond the circle. In school. In work. Even in the programs and coaching I paid for, I never quite felt like I belonged. I showed up, took notes, did the work—but inside, I knew no one was truly invested in me.
That experience could have left me bitter. Instead, it gave me clarity. It showed me the kind of mentor I didn’t want to be—and more importantly, the kind of mentor I wanted to become.
Because mentorship isn’t about proximity to success. It’s about partnership.
Why mentorship—Changes Everything
When I talk about mentorship, I’m not talking about endless hand-holding or someone giving you every answer. That doesn’t create strength—it creates dependency.
True mentorship is about direction and support in the beginning, so you have the tools and confidence to build something that lasts. It’s heart-centered. It’s personal. And it’s built on action, not just information.
Here’s what I believe mentorship should look like—especially for women stepping into business:
Investment in you as a person. Not just your numbers or results, but your growth, your strengths, and the way you want to show up.
Space for your voice. You don’t need to fit into a mold or copy/paste someone else’s posts. Your story is your brand.
Guided action. The first phase is about doing—not waiting until everything feels “ready.”
Systems that support you. Tools and processes that work behind the scenes so your business grows with you, not against you.
This is why I’ve built my mentorship model differently. Instead of dropping women into a system and expecting them to figure it out, we launch in the first 10 days. That way you have something real to stand on.
From there, we spend 120 days—building your foundation, implementing systems, and giving you the skills that make you independent. Not dependent. Because every woman I work with is her own business owner and brand.
Mentorship isn’t about me creating clones. It’s about helping women build with confidence, clarity, and freedom.
Be Seen. Be Supported. Be Mentored.
If you’ve ever felt like I did—sitting on the outside, waiting for someone to truly see you—you already know what’s missing from most mentorship.
You don’t need another login, another workbook, or another “someday” strategy. You need a mentor who will:
Launch with you.
Support you as you learn by doing.
Then hand you the reins, because it’s your business to grow.
That’s how I mentor now—heart-centered, free-spirited, and invested in helping women thrive.
